Kasia Hebda
Kasia Hebda is a Polish multidisciplinary visual artist, art conservator, and graphic designer based in Queenstown, specializing in graphic design, illustration, and murals. She moved to Queenstown in 2019 and has drawn inspiration from New Zealand landscapes, fauna and flora ever since.
Her background is in fine art conservation and restoration, with a specialization in paintings. Her extensive experience ranges from project management in the restoration of wall paintings to the creation of murals, as well as illustration and graphic design.
Illustration & Design
Kasia is open for commissions for custom-made illustrative work. At Kasia Hebda Studio, she is dedicated to crafting distinctive designs that cater to the unique needs of her clients. She particularly enjoys collaborating with small local brands, with a strong emphasis on branding and brand identity.
Murals & Interior Decoration
Drawing from her extensive experience in wall painting conservation, she applies her skills to create bespoke murals and interior designs for both private clients and institutions.

Kasia's primary passion lies in illustration and painting, drawing inspiration not only from the natural world, encompassing flora, fauna, and intricate patterns but also from the rich tapestry of art history and design. Driven by her enthusiasm for art technology and theory, she shares her expertise by teaching drawing and painting techniques within the local community through her original workshops, courses, and private tutoring.
Art Conservation
Kasia is a certified art conservator, having completed a 6-year MFA program in Conservation and Restoration of Paintings at Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow, Poland. She offers consultation and a limited range of conservation services for safeguarding fine arts collections.
