Who is the class for?

Perfect for beginners and intermediate artists alike, this introductory course will help you build a solid foundation in landscape drawing. Whether you’re just starting or looking to refine your skills, this course is crafted to guide you through the challenges and joys of drawing landscapes.

During the course, you will learn:

• Foundations of landscape drawing – mastering composition, perspective, and depth.

• Tonal values and shading techniques – creating realistic light and shadow effects.

• Developing focal points – drawing attention to key elements within the landscape.

• Building a creative mindset – unlocking inspiration and strengthening artistic confidence.

Materials:

Bring a sketchbook. All materials are provided, though you are welcome to bring favourite papers, markers, coloured pencils, or other favourite drawing tools.

Drop-in Option:

Drop-in option is available, however this course is designed to build your skills progressively over four weeks, so attending all sessions is highly recommended for the most comprehensive experience.
