This summer, Footnote New Zealand Dance tour IYKYK (If You Know You Know), an exciting double-bill of new contemporary dance works by choreographers Holly Newsome and Forest Kapo. These two works present a game-like lens of viewing the human condition - How do you win at the game of life? What are the rules of the end of the world?
As part of this tour, we are offering Masterclasses to give people insight into the choreographic ideas and movement languages. Taught by Footnote's company dancers, you will have the opportunity to learn repertoire from the show and experience the choreographic process used to create it!
In Queenstown, we are so excited to be able to offer a free masterclass for those between 12 and 18 years of age, at Te Atamira, 22 March 7-8.15pm.
