This class is designed for parents and caregivers of babies wanting to do something a bit different in their day. The class is designed to spark a bit of joy and encourage mental well-being.

Absolutely no dance experience is necessary, if you can walk, you can enjoy this class.

What to expect?

- Approx 30 minutes of movement/dancing

- No baby music, mostly top 40 hits with a few random throwbacks

- No pressure environment: take breaks, feed your baby, join in when you can

- No jumping, high impact or super fast movements

Other things to note:

- You can carry your baby instead of using a carrier/wrap if you prefer

- Suggested age range for babies is 0-8 months

IMPORTANT - TICKET PRICES:

- ADMISSION price is for both 1 adult and 1 pēpi

- Select 1 ticket if you are bringing 1 pēpi.

- If you are bringing an additional child, please select an additional 'CHILD' ticket. There will be an additional $10 charge.

- Due to capacity constraints, additional children not being worn must be ticketed.

- Class is not for profit and costs $13 (includes $3 ticketing contribution for Te Atamira) - proceeds go to Central Lakes Family Trust‍‍

This class is run by Queenstown local Kate McLennan. Kate has over 15 years dance experience across Commercial Jazz, Hip hop and Ballroom and is has several years’ experience teaching adults and kids to dance.
