Connect your mind and body in this creative workshop. Retrain your brain to let go and create your own gestural interpretation of sounds with fun colour inspired movements with Jade Hardy and Gabbrielle Coppolla. Saturday 23 November, 4pm - 5:30pm
Do you love abstract art? Have you ever wanted to create a visual interpretation of a song but didn’t know where to begin? Join our lively and interactive workshop where you’ll explore synesthesia—the connection between sound and colour.
Learn how your body reacts to music and express those responses through art. Whether your strokes are fluid, bold, or spontaneous, the possibilities are endless. Draw inspiration from artists like Hans Hofmann, Daniela Schweinsberg, Helen Frankenthaler, and Terry Hoff, using gestural movements and diverse techniques to create your own unique 2D artwork.
With guidance from Jade Hardy and Gabbrielle Coppolla, you’ll engage in warm-up exercises and then unleash your creativity to craft your own sound-inspired masterpiece.
