The Queenstown Writers Festival is a biennial boutique festival that brings writers and readers together to celebrate the written word in many forms. At this spring event novelists, poets, short-story writers, children’s writers and non-fiction writers talk about books, share their stories and lead writing workshops. 11 November - 13 November
The Queenstown Writers Festival gathers together writers and tutors with different experiences and working in different genres. The programme offers something for everyone. In 2022 our guests write award-winning literary fiction, poetry and spoken word, memoir, historical fiction and short stories.
There are workshops on disinformation and misinformation, getting published and playwriting, a documentary and a poetry jam.
