The foundations of starting out as a screen actor, from industry insights, how to nail auditions and gain confidence, to giving truthful performances for the camera. Ages 15-18. Taster Class: Sunday 20 October, 5pm - 7pm | Term Booking: Sunday 27 October - Sunday 15 December, 5pm - 7pm.
The first ever term of the Screen Teens acting programme to get talented local teens ready for the big or small screen!
Do you dream of being a film or tv actor and want to learn all about how to get there?
In an introductory taster session and 8 two-hour classes, tutor Amalia Remus will provide her first-hand insight into the acting industry and how to enter it and guide students through practical tools she has learned from her rich training and acting experience over the last eight years.
We’ll be doing fun and highly valuable exercises and applying rehearsal and performance techniques from a range of sources, including the Meisner technique to real scenes from film and tv, which students will perform for camera in front of the class.
At the end of the course we will offer an additional package for each student with a headshot and showreel, ready to get an agent and start auditioning!
