Michael Parmenter and Kate Grace combine as Balfolk Aotearoa to provide vibrant experiences of fellowship in dance. They have been sharing their vision of community dance though workshops and folk bals in various centres and at festivals throughout the country.

For the Te Atamira Folk Bal, Michael and Kate will guide us in dances from a diverse range of sources - partner dances, circle dances and contra-dances - chosen to give a sense of both individual creativity and delightful social interaction.
